Requirements for Appointment
➢ Be a Kenyan citizen;
➢ Be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in the following discipline Tourism
Management, project management, Marketing or related field from a
recognized institution in Kenya;
➢ Member of a recognized professional body relevant to the above
requirements;
➢ Must have relevant knowledge and experience of not less than 3 years in
a related area;
➢ Demonstrate professional competency in work performance and result;
and
➢ Proficiency in computer applications;
Duties and Responsibilities
➢ Operationalizing Tourism Marketing activities;
➢ Devising tourism Development initiatives/campaign;
➢ Tourism Product development and diversification;
➢ Tourism stakeholders’ management;
➢ Updating and improvement of the County Tourism Database;
➢ Handling tourism stakeholder’s complaints/suggestion and providing
feedback to stakeholders;
➢ Assist in Tourism Research;
➢ Provide literature and information on local, interstate and international
tours and places of interest;
➢ Preparing periodic tourism reports with supervisor; and
➢ Manning Tourism information Centre.
