Salary as per Salaries & Remuneration Commission of Kenya
Requirements for appointment:
➢ Be a Kenyan citizen;
➢ Bachelor’s degree in Building Economics/Quantity Surveying or equivalent
and relevant qualifications from a university recognized in Kenya;
➢ Registered as a Graduate member of either the Architectural Association
of Kenya or the Institute of Quantity Surveyors;
➢ Proficiency in computer applications; and
➢ Certificate in relevant computer software.
Duties and Responsibilities: -
➢ Preparing cost estimates and bills of quantities;
➢ Undertaking monthly valuations on site;
➢ Site re-measurements;
➢ Preparing variation orders; and
➢ Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
