AUDIO VISUAL EDITORIAL TECHNICIAN I
1 POST – JOB GROUP ‘J’
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this ion grade, an officer must have: -
i. Served in the grade of Audio-visual Editorial Technician II for a minimum period of three (3)
years or post Certificate qualification experience of a period of six (6) years
ii. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D+ (plus) with at least C- (minus) in
English or Kiswahili or Music or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
iii. Certificate in audio-visual production, archiving and editing, computer application in audio
production and editing lasting not less than one (1) year from recognized institution
iv. Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution;
v. Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Audio-visual recording, editing, mixing and production,
ii. audio-visual archiving, assist in music composition,
iii. studio equipment maintenance and undertaking any audio-visual editorial duties that may be
assigned
iv. Undertaking any other Audio-visual editorial duties that may be assigned.
