TECHNICAL MANAGER
1 POSITION
i. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities.
ii. Directing, coordinating, controlling and managing technical operations and maintenance of infrastructure to ensure that water services are provided to the required standards.
iii. Developing customer focus and maintaining of infrastructure to ensure that water services are provided to the required standards.
iv. Managing all construction works either by using external consultants or in-house resources.
v. Ensuring proper management of company's assets to maximize the return on investment.
vi. Developing technical policies and plans for achievement of overall company objective.
vii. Staff development, training and motivation.
viii. Perform any other lawful duty as may be assigned from time to time by the managing director.
Appointment Specification
Applicants should have the following qualifications.
i. Have a Bachelor's degree in Water Engineering, Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
ii. Must have served in a comparable position with similar responsibilities in like organizations for a period of eight(8) years, 3 years in senior management.
iii. Project management skills and hands-on experience managing consultants and contractors.
iv. Must ne a registered member of the Engineers Board of Kenya.
v. Have a wide experience in water sector.
vi. Demonstrate outstanding leadership capabilities.
vii. Have a high degree of integrity and dependability.
viii. Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
ix. Must fulfill requirements of chapter six(6) of the Kenyan Constitution.
