Job Description

Gelian Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hotel management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and supervise all aspects of the hotel's operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and security, to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the hotel.
2. Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that the highest level of guest satisfaction is achieved by maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and overall guest experience. Address and resolve guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
3. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise department heads and front-line staff. Set performance targets, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide guidance and support to ensure staff are motivated and delivering exceptional service.
4. Financial Management: Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage the hotel's operating budget, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
5. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control standards across all hotel departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services, to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services.
6. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards to provide a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. Develop and maintain emergency procedures and protocols.
7. Inventory and Supplies Management: Oversee inventory management, including ordering and maintaining adequate supplies of hotel operational items, such as linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
8. Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services, such as maintenance, supplies, and equipment.
9. Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for operational improvements, develop and implement efficient processes, and monitor key performance indicators to enhance productivity and profitability.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in hotel management or operations management, preferably in a four-star or higher-rated hotel.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Sound understanding of financial management and budgeting principles.
- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
