QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 26,900.00- 35,380.00 (CPSB 11)
House Allowance: Ksh. 4,500 p.m
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 4,000 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Three (3) Years Contract (Renewable)
Requirements for appointment:-
i. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
ii. Possess a current valid practicing certificate;
iii. Membership of a relevant professional body
iv. Proficiency in computer applications.
Duties and Responsibilities: -
i. Install and maintain electrical engineering services in offices, conferences complexes, educational institutions, County buildings and installations;
ii. Collect and compile data in consultation with the user of facilities to determine the appropriate development requirements;
iii. Supervise installation work carried out by contractors; and
iv. Evaluate electrical operation challenges and make appropriate recommendations.
