Terms of Service: 3 year contract
Remuneration: As per SRC guidelines
Requirements for Appointment
i. Higher Diploma in Anesthesia or its equivalent from a recognized institution
ii Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and Community Health
equivalent from a recognized institution
iii. Proven experience of not less than three (3) years as a Registered Clinical Officer
Certificate of registration from the Clinical Officers Council
Annual retention certificate
Certificate in Computer Applications
Duties and Responsibilities
i. History taking, examining, diagnosis, education and treating patient's common ailments at an outpatient or inpatient in the Hospital
ii. Guiding and Counseling patients, clients and staff on health, issues
iii. Carrying out surgical procedures in the theatres
iv. Sensitizing patients and clients on preventive and promotive health
v. Assessing, preparing and presenting medico-legal reports
vi. Ensuring compliance with the set standards operating procedures
vii. Training, guiding and monitoring students on internship
