AMBULANCE DRIVER —JOB GROUP ‘CPSB 15’ - V/NO/KCPSB/1 1/2021/32 ( 8 POSITIONS)
Terms of Service: 3-year contract
Remuneration: Consolidated salary of Ksh. 30,000 per month
Requirements for Appointment
i. A valid driving license free from any accidents and valid for any of the classes of vehicles which the officer is required to drive.
ii. Suitability Test for drivers
iii. Mechanics training will be an added advantage
iv. At least five (5) years’ working experience.
v. Must have demonstrated disciplined lifestyle, outstanding professional competence and integrity in work performance and results.
vi. Must be pleasant and d1sciplined with the ability to work with different groups of people
vii. Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the values and principles outlined in Articles 10 and 252 of the Constitution
viii. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Driving motor vehicles as authorized
ii. Safety of the passengers and/or goods therein
iii. Maintenance of work tickets for vehicles assigned
iv. Carrying out routine checks on the vehicles’ cooling, oil, electrical, brake systems and tyre pressure
v. Detecting and reporting malfunction of vehicles
vi. Ensuring security of the vehicle on and off the road;
vii. Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle
