QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements For appointment:-
i. Degree in Social Sciences or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
ii. Have necessary experience in their respective field of profession of at least four (4) years;
iii. Good communication and interpersonal skills; and
iv. Experienced in handling teams, coordinating services and working in outreach programs for the vulnerable, rehabilitation and treatment of addicted persons.
Duties and Responsibilities: -
i. Plan program activities on timely and accurate manner;
ii. Establish a database and referral mechanism system for the rehabilitation of persons to receive comprehensive services;
iii. Reach out to vulnerable and/ or addicted persons and admit to the rehabilitation center(s);
iv. Consider and co-ordinate with other services to undertake a comprehensive assessment and develop individual rehabilitation programmes;
v. Monitor and evaluate support programmes and ensure meaningful outcomes are recorded and built upon during the support process;
vi. Coordinate rehabilitation of the addicted persons;
vii. Prepare progress reports including identification of problems, causes of potential bottlenecks in implementation, and providing specific recommendations; and
viii. Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets
