QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 23,700.00 -31,450.00 (CPSB 12)
House Allowance: Ksh. 4,500 p.m
Commuter Allowance: KSh. 4,000 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Three (3) Years Contract (Renewable)
Requirements for Appointment: -
i. Certificate in Security Management, Criminology, Crime Prevention and Management, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Disaster Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
ii. Proficiency in computer applications; and
iii. Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Duties and Responsibilities: -
i. Enforce county laws and other relevant acts;
ii. Provide safe custody of relevant enforcement records;
iii. Enforce discipline among the officers under him/her to adhere to applicable policies and procedures;
iv. Conduct surveillance, detect and report any suspicious activities;
v. Collect relevant intelligence information and report on matters of County interest;
vi. Follow up on Occurrence Book entries;
vii. Supervise staff working under him/her;
viii. Carry out regular patrols in parking areas to ensure orderly parking and traffic management; and
ix. Perform any other lawful related duties assigned by Supervisor.
