QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 39,700.00 - 52,960.00 (CPSB 09)
House Allowance: Ksh. 12,800 p.m
Commuter Allowance: KSh. 5,000 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Three (3) Years Contract (Renewable)

Requirements for Appointment: -
i. A Bachelor’s degree holder in international relations & Diplomacy or its related from a recognized institution;
ii. Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the values and principles as outlined in articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya;
iii. Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, meets deadlines and develops innovative recommendations and solutions to problems; and
iv. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities: -
i. Participate in the linkage between the county and the respective stakeholders and other relevant offices at the County.
ii. Coordinate donor and diaspora engagement meetings.
iii. Coordinate logistics and accommodation arrangements of county officers and relevant stakeholders/investors on official duties
iv. Attend regular intergovernmental and sectoral meetings as delegated by the authorized officer
v. Conduct periodic research of thematic areas from time to time and provide balanced analysis and assessment to inform the County Government on Intergovernmental and Diaspora Relations issue
vi. Set and oversee internal operating rules and regulations on Intergovernmental and Diaspora Relations
vii. Communicate decisions, reports and plans of the Intergovernmental and Diaspora activities
viii. Coordinate the implementation of decisions of intergovernmental relations;
ix. Coordinate consultations and cooperation between County Government and the stakeholders and Manage its agreements and memorandum of understandings; and
x. Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
