QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 102,860.00 -137,070.00 (CPSB 04)
House Allowance: Ksh. 28,000.00 p.m
Commuter Allowance: KSh. 14,000.00 p.m.
Other Allowances as Per the SRC Circulars
Terms of Service: Three (3) Years Contract (Renewable)

Requirements for Appointment: -
i. Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Security Management, Criminology and Fraud Management, Criminology and Security Studies, Criminal Justice; Police Science, Military Science, Forensic Investigations and Penology or its equivalent from a recognized institution or alternatively;
ii. Master’s Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage;
iii. The applicant must have served at the level of inspector and above at the Kenya Police, Kenya Defense Forces or Kenya Wildlife Services with over 7 years’ experience in service

Duties and Responsibilities: -
i. Coordinate the implementation of policies, guidelines and plans and strategies on enforcement;
ii. Enforce County laws and other relevant Acts;
iii. Follow up the approval of enforcement staff uniforms and other necessary tools and equipment;
iv. Ensure discipline is maintained by enforcement officers under him/her;
v. Give evidence in court on behalf of the County Government;
vi. Coordinate training and development of enforcement officers;
vii. Coordinate enforcement budget preparation and implementation;
viii. Coordinate performance management and preparation of annual work plans for the Directorate;
ix. Liaise with other law enforcement agencies on matters pertaining to security in the county;
x. Make recommendations on intelligence reports;
xi. Conduct internal investigations, preparing investigation reports and liaising with external investigation agencies (where applicable);
xii. Provide leadership for effective operations and management of enforcement Directorate; and
xiii. Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
